John 15:7: If you live in me, and my words stay part of you, you may ask what you will — it will be done for you.

Matthew 21:21:In reply Jesus said to them, \”Truly I tell you, if you have faith, and do not waver, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this
mountain, \’Be lifted up and be hurled into the sea,\’ it will be done.

Message for the day

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go,
only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He\’ll catch you when you fall, or
He\’ll teach you how to fly! \’The power of one sentence!
God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work
in your favor.
If you believe, send it.
If you don\’t believe, delete it.
God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close. If
you need God to open some doors for you…send this to persons you
think need special blessings.
Have a Blessed Day!!!

Two words which will change your life!

There are two words that, when spoken, have the most unfathomable power to completely change your life. Two words which, when they pass your lips, will be the cause of bringing absolute joy and happiness to you. Two words that will create miracles in your life. Two words that will wipe out negativity. Two words that will bring you abundance in all things. Two words which, when uttered and sincerely felt, will summon all the forces and vibrations in the Universe to move all things for you.

The only thing standing between you, happiness, and the life of your dreams, are two words…

Gratitude is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to transform your life. If you become truly grateful, you will magnetize absolute joy to you everywhere you go, and in everything you do. In fact, without gratitude, nothing can ever change. Your life will change to the degree that you use gratitude and begin to feel grateful. If you are just a little bit grateful, your life will change a little bit. If you are very grateful, your whole life will change. If you live gratitude every single day, you will become one of the greatest human beings on the planet, and the light of your life will uplift our world. The greatest human beings who have ever lived showed us the way with gratitude, and by their example became shining lights in our history. Einstein said \”thank you\” hundreds of times every single day! Ancient wisdom dating back thousands of years gave us the truth about gratitude. Every single religion speaks of giving thanks. All the sages and saviors of the world demonstrated the use of gratitude in all their teachings.

Of the thousands of letters we receive from people whose lives have become miracles after experiencing The Secret, every single one of them has made gratitude their way of life. It is impossible to be negative when you are giving thanks. It is impossible to criticize or blame when you are feeling grateful. It is impossible to feel sad when you are in gratitude. Most people are sporadically grateful, however, to change your life with gratitude, a new way of learning how to be truly grateful is what will bring unlimited happiness into your life.

So how do you live in gratitude? Begin your day by feeling grateful. Be grateful for the bed you just slept in, the roof over your head, the carpet or floor under your feet, the running water, the soap, your shower, your toothbrush, your clothes, your shoes, the car that you drive, your job, your friends, your refrigerator that keeps your food cold. Be grateful for the weather, the sun, the sky, the birds, the trees, the grass, the rain, and the flowers. Be grateful for the stores that make it so easy to buy the things you need, the restaurants, the utilities and services and electrical appliances that make your life effortless. Be grateful for magazines and the books that you read. Be grateful for the chair that you sit on, and the pavement that you walk on. Be grateful for your favorite music that sweeps you away, and for movies that make you feel good. Be grateful for your phone that connects you with people, for your computer, for the electricity that lights up your life. Be grateful for air travel that flies you everywhere. Be grateful for the roads and traffic lights that keep the traffic in order. Be grateful to those who built our bridges. Be grateful for your pet, for your child, for your loved ones, for your eyes that enable you to read this. Be grateful for your imagination. Be grateful that you can think! Be grateful that you can speak. Be grateful that you can laugh and smile. Be grateful that you can breathe! Be grateful that you are alive! Be grateful that you are You! Be grateful that there are two words that can change your life!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The more that you practice gratitude the more deeply you will feel it in your heart, and the depth of the feeling is the key. The more deeply and sincerely you feel it, the more you will bring absolute bliss and happiness on every single subject. Watch what happens in your life when you practice gratitude every single day and in every single moment and in every opportunity that you can. Remember, if you are criticizing, you are not being grateful. If you are blaming, you are not being grateful. If you are complaining, you are not being grateful. If you are feeling tension, you are not being grateful. If you are rushing, you are not being grateful. If you are in a bad mood, you are not being grateful.

To understand the power and the magic of gratitude, you have to experience it for yourself. So why not begin by deciding to find 100 things a day to be grateful for? As you practice gratitude every day, it won\’t take long before gratitude is your natural state of being, and when it happens you will have unlocked one of the greatest Secrets to Life.

This past Friday, June 13, Tim Russert who pointedly but politely questioned hundreds of the powerful and influential as moderator of NBC\’s Meet the Press, died suddenly of a heart attack while preparing for his weekly broadcast.

Although I wasn\’t always able to watch Meet the Press on Sunday morning (our church starts during that same hour) I often recorded it to see it later. Of all the political commentators and reporters, he was my favorite, playing right down the center unlike a Hugh Downs or Bill O\’Reilly.

Why was Russert so revered by the audiences, peers, and guests that could be so harsh and unforgiving? Simple. He was good at what he did and he was real. Take a look at the following list of word and phrases used to describe him:

– Hard work
– Love of his profession
– A passion for news and a passion for politics and combined them in a remarkable career
– He was fair
– He was hard-hitting
– He was informed
– He came at his tasks with a smile, a sense of joy and humor that urged us all toward comity and cooperation
– Enduring honesty and integrity
– He was a personal inspiration to me
– A wonderful human being who valued family and friends over all

I wonder if I was to leave the earth, would people say the same things about me? More importantly, will people say these kinds of things about you?

These statements are words that are earned, not just handed out. They describe an aggressive focus on a very tough profession. They are the reward for excellence and perseverance. What are you doing each day in your profession and in the lives of the people around you to make this kind of impact?

My goal, starting this week, is to begin each day purposing to make a big enough difference that if (and when) I die, people would write these kinds of heart-felt tributes about me. It seems to me that positively impacting those around us is one of the best ways to leave a legacy. We all have that same opportunity. Why not join me this week in this challenge? Look for people and circumstances in your circle of influence that you can make a difference in. I\’m pretty sure the world would be a much better place, don\’t you?

I\’m not much of a horse racing fan, but if the Belmont Stakes is on and a horse has a shot at the Triple Crown, I usually watch it. Saturday, Big Brown had a shot at winning the Crown after two impressive wins at the Kentucky Derby and Preakness so I tuned in.

After endless interviews, commercials, profiles of the owners, trainers, and jockeys, the race finally started. Amazingly, Big Brown finished dead last.

The question this morning is, did Big Brown fail?

If you measure it by normal standards, you could say yes. After all, the Triple Crown is one of the biggest and most difficult prizes to get in sports. If you miss that mark, you fail. But if you really think about it, just getting to the Belmont after two other difficult victories is pretty impressive. In my mind, Big Brown didn\’t fail, he just didn\’t pick up the third victory.Bigbrown

His trainer Rick Dutrow Jr on the other hand, did fail. His failure however was before the race. Over the past few weeks, Dutrow had become quite arrogant. claiming that Big Brown would be talked about \”in the same breath as Secretariat, Affirmed, all those good ones.\” He guaranteed a victory, something that\’s only been done successfully one time many years ago by Joe Namath before his New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts in Superbowl III in 1969. His pre-race arrogance was annoying.

Perhaps that\’s why some of the trainers who beat him took such satisfaction in denying the boasting Dutrow of Triple Crown glory. It became clear after the race that by popping off so loudly and frequently, he had violated an unwritten rule of the shedrow. David Carroll, the trainer of runner-up Denis of Cork, did not mince words. Asked if he was sorry that another Triple Crown had been denied, he replied, \”Not one little bit. There\’s a right way and a wrong way to do this. He said my horse was [in effect] a P-O-S. A piece of sh–. It bothered me, yeah. My horse is a good horse. It rubbed me the wrong way.\”

Now that it\’s over, Big Brown can enjoy finishing his days as a prized stud and Dutrow can begin mending fences and fixing his image. He can only hope people forget the \”guarantee\” and move on. It will reemmerge again of course the next time a horse has a shot at the Crown in some lengthy pre-race show, but maybe he will have done something by then to erase the stigma.

Big Brown, enjoy your new career, you\’ve earned it. Rick Dutrow, remember, confidence is fine, just don\’t get overconfident and arrogant.

It\’s a lesson all of us need to heed.
