Ba-ruch Shem k’vod ma-chu-to l’o-lam va-ed!/

Blessed is God’s glorious majesty forever and ever!

Sh’ma Yis-ra-el: Adonai Eh-lo-hei-nu, Adonai Eli-chad/Hear, O Israel: the Eternal One is our God, the Eternal God alone!

GOD BLESS ISRAEL AND THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WITH LOVE, FOREVER

The Bible, Genesis 25:23, God said to Rebekkah, you have two nations that are in your womb, and the two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and elder shall serve the younger.

Bingo, if I could get my two older sisters to remember that, that they ought to be serving me. I know that my youngest son is different. I also believe that he is a gift from God. If it were anyother way around, then I know that he would be a stronger nation than his sister because she has a heart of folly.

In this weeks Memorial Portion we will dedicate to the hero’s. The ones that do the right thing in the wild wild west. The Parsh is called, Behaalotecha (Numbers 8:1 through Numbers 12:16; which completes the two books within numbers to make it seven, instead of five books.

Aaron is commanded by God to raise light in the lamps of the Menorah, the Candelbra (. This is a permanent statute. The Jewish identity for the Jewish people will bring a reward that we are all looking forward to – first to the Jew and then the Gentile. However, God’s law is an identity taught in the home for the Jewish people and it will be with us/them – God’s chosen people – throughout all eternity, and the Eternal One will make sanctification happen, righteouseness and eternal life will be a reality (Numbers 8:5-26). Did you know that God instructed the Candelbra which is also featured in the book of Revelations 11:4; Revelations 1:20.

Our faith makes us righteous in the name of Jesus, the greatest person (Jew) to ever walk the earth.

In the book of Numbers there are two silver trumpets which were used for the calling of the congregation (future saints that include Gentiles); and the directing of the movement of the camp (Numbers 10:2). What an amazing time to see the trumpet in Zion blown!!!! Then Moses said Rise up Oh Lord and let your enemies scattered (Numbers 10:35-36).  Revelations 8 and 9 the trumpets blow and the law is improvised a little bit but as a great High Pirest he still sticks to His Jewish Identity and receives the seven trumpets with much incense and at the altar. Next, The Seventy Elders, are descendants of the original seventy that came out of Egypt, and God puts the same Spirit on the Seventy Elders (70 prophets) as he had put in Moses (Numbers 11:17; Revelations 4:1-11)

Then the people complain and give into their craving, and God gives them Qual. However at Kibroth Hattaavah, God struck a great plague before the people could finish chewing. His point was that I gave you manna, it had all the nutrients that you would need. However, that wasn’t enough and so the people paid for their discontent, which is brought up again later in the book of Numbers.

Lastly, we visit the wife of Moses. I hear this alot because of my mixed heritage, “who are you and why do you come here.” Have you converted yet! If you define me by my attendance in a synagogue like your great grandparents, then no I can’t be Jewish. However if you define me by culture and God’s word, then I am not adopted into the faith at all. I am more than you, and I was redeemed and blood bought before your ancestors even thought about religion. Nevertheless, Moses wife had a heritage from the continent of Africa that can be very stimulating and rewarding. It is a beautiful heritage that has been stolen, plummered and pillaged often times as booty – to this very day i.e., dynasty of asian kings  Nevertheless, I believe that God will restore the land back to the rightful heirs, this is no Zionism. I think we all have a specific homeland, and it is best described in our faith, our hair and the way we worship the eternal one.

Finally the one thing that you hear often is that some makes a dissention remark on the black girl, a Kushite from probably upper and lower Egypt. The only Egyptian dynasty to combine all lands of Africa and to spread as far east and India, the dynasty was able to put out some asian nations that are no longer in existence. But does anyone see the greatness in this woman willing to accept her husband’s people (Exodus 4), no! They make fun of her being black. The black girl, as I told you earlier is never good enough to be accepted in any other culture. Maybe Moses wanted her because he wanted to be assured of offspring with a defect, and he did not want to be accused of trying to be too caucasian (Genesis 30:22; Genesis 24:60; Genesis 25:1-6; Genesis 16:1 and Genesis 18:12). I don’t know but the family breaks in Judges (1st) chapter and they wipe their hands of Moses line to this very day. Ignorance comes with a deadly price to the offspring of generations, but God will gather all of his scattered people in the last day, this is a promise that I believe God will deliver. Nothing is too hard for our God and he is a God that won’t lie and can fulfill any promise.

I hope you have a safe and prosperous weekend, Shabbat Shalom and take care. Thanks for dropping by, and be sure to check me out on my profile Yahoo Profile when this site is closed on July 13th, 2009. Jesus is Lord!!!!!
