Disciples of Jesus Christ’s Memorial Parsha Re’eh in Deut….12 and 14 Part 2

This is the second part of the Memorial Parsha of Re’eh for the Disciples of Jesus Christs. Parsha Re’eh reading for the week of August 1, 2010  Saturday, August 7th, 2010.can be found in Deuteronomy 12 through Deuteronomy 16. Traditional Haftorah is Isaiah 54 and Isaiah 55

The Rock of the Church, Peter In closing the chapters of twelve and fourteen in the book of Deuteronomy, 14, I just wanted to emphasize the tithes are to be put aside for kingdom building, at the time the tithes could have been used for the third temple. Now the tithes are  solely or should solely be used for the church of God, that stands aright now on earth. Jesus said that the foundation of the church, a place of worship and studying shall be built on the knowledge of the kingdom of God. Matthew 16:13When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?  14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.  15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. 21From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.  The picture is courtesy of,

Jesus knew that it is not only important to protect your home, but also you should protect the church, which is inside you, so there is no need to go to a building. I hope some of you go to church every Sunday to spend time fellowshipping with the saints, the believers and the chosen and called of Jesus, who died for your sins, the church. He could have lived a life by forgetting about you and I but early in the chapter he confronted the ruling council and taught the law of Moses in it’s true and pure form. Through his accomplishment on the cross, which is the crux of his unity with God, the firstborn of the dead and the resurrection, he gave you grace. 

Justification is a work of grace for the servant of God is manifested unto Christ, your salvation. No matter what competing elements of a belief system that you have, your faith should always stand on the final authority of God’s word, the absolute truth which is more than facts – and rests in Jesus, the truth. The Bible is God’s law (His fullness) and the highest authority can give you an idea of a path to an eternal destiny; because you were made to live forever. God can ot look on sin.  Therefore you shall not hold to someone elses theology, doctrine or tradition but the saving grace (the favor) of God, that will measure judgement in the church in this last day (Matthew 24:36-51; Epheisans 3:18-19 and Exodus 19:3-6). In closing, I am not concerned about you stealing the cross because it does not stop the Gospel from going to the Nations, from Jerusalem, just like that…. This post is encouraged to multiply disciples, preaching throughout the world. Surely Jesus will be with you to the end of time – to testify and to save. Cheer up, it’s going to be rough as soon as you start to believe.  God wants you to be different than the others that do not believe there is one God and He is sovereign, there is one place for worship, and that is Jerusalem. Therefore don’t take anywords or add anywords to this perfect law of the LORD Thy God. (Deuteronomy 12:32 and Revelations 22:18-19).

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 12His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” 

1st Peter 3:14,15:  Be Holy –  13Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a] 

Luke 12:49-53:  Not peace but division – 49“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! 51Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” 

Matthew 10:34-38:  Jesus sends out twelve – 34“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn ” ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law – 36a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ 37“Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 

John 13:17:  Jesus washes the disciples feet – 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. 

John 7:39:  Is Jesus the Christ? – 39By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
