What is holding you back, who is the Ego (Egypt) in your mind?

April 11, 2009

The greatest benefit, a Shuvah reading is “Let life abundant be the heritge of all the children of your covenant.”

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an eternal rock (Isaiah 26:4) / Beet-choo b’Adoani ah-day odd, Key b’ya adonai tozoor oh-la-meem.

On April 9th, 2009 (14 Nissan 5769), was a night it was a full moon, and the Second Day of Passover, which is the First Seder, the most appropriate reading is (Leviticus 22:23-26 and Leviticus 23:44) is a time that we look at the appointed times (moadim) of the calendar. God the conveys to Moses and Aaron a series of mitzvoth 9diveine commandments) in preparation for their Exodus from Egypt. The first mitzvah is to set the Jewish calendar in order, in accordance with the monthly birth of the new moon, and regard the month of the Exodus as “the head of the months.” The second mitzvah is to bring a “Passover offering” to God while still in the land of Egypt… The dinner that I had at the Pesach Seder, was a time that I enjoyed a scrumptious dinner. I would like to say that I am not the honored guest, because the honored guest is the man that Jesus gave homage to, and that would be Elijah. We must remember that when we believe in Jesus, the only people that lay claim to him are the people of his own nationality. The appointed times on the Jewish calendar for festive celebration of our bond with God, can be done in the privacy of your own home on the second day or at a sanctuary. It is a good mitzvah to Count the Omer, which is a 49-day “countdown” to the festival of Shavuot – and begins on the 2nd day of Passover, Pesach Seder. Seder starts in the privacy of your own home. A lot of people can not observe the Law of Moses taught by Jesus, and so they need someone to immediately be their intercessory and die on the cross for their sins. Don’t ask me what I think, because I will give you my opinion from my point of view. I will tell you what I know, when my faith was working and when it was not working.

Last nights feast was fit for a king, and I would describe the Festival as the three annual feasts, as the feast of Unleavened Bread. The matzah bread was central on the table. I believe that since the bone of the lamb was visible then that was my ascending offering (olah), and in my conscious, I asked for all of my needs and provisions to be met by God, his name is Jehovah. If I were to offer my conscious to him, then it would be the concerns of my family. In the Feast of Unleavened Bread that begins on the Second Day of Passover, and the First Seder, you are to get rid of leavened bread and eat only unleavened bread (Exodus 23:15). Next the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors in the field. Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord God (Yahweh). You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; nor shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until morning. The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mothers’ milk (Exodus 23:15-19). Compliance of God’s word is prayer, fasting and praise; most importantly don’t forget to read God’s word daily and to keep in your heart, always.

There are some people that feel that there is an obligation to journey to the Holy Temple to see and be seen before the face of God on the three annual pilgrimage festivals – Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot (Exodus 23). Although I don’t have any money, nothing is more important to me than counting down throughout lent season, or to the Pentecost. It is a joyous time in our life that we look forward to the infilling spirit of God. The infilling of God equips us to do the many miracles that were performed by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I am not doing all of the laws of Moses, spoken by God, and I don’t know the ways of my forefathers, therefore, I need a savior. I need a promise that a Messiah has come and or return again. Jesus is nothing to argue about, most importantly, I need to know that Messiah will return again to my line, and that my seed will not be wiped off the face of the earth, the 144,000 that Jesus speaks about in the book of Revelations 7:4-8. So I hope when I write that I am describing something to you so that you can say, you know what that sounds like the tribe I was in, by blood and birth right. As one wise man would say, “we are not a lost people.” I am sure that he never performed any of his miracles on an empty stomach. Many people miss the point, the man behind the miracles, in their mind he will miraculously make things right in 2009, and you don’t even have to pick up an ink pen.

The feast of the weeks is a time that you count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord (Leviticus 23:16). In verse 21 of Chapter 23, after the seven Sabbaths are completed you shall proclaim on the same day that is a holy convocation to you. And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. In chapter 23, verse 23, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying that there is also the Feast of Trumpets. “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. In chapter 23, verse 29 and 32, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, The next of holy convocation is the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:26). You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statue forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. The last feast sounds very similar to Lent to me. Nevertheless, then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, (34) Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. (35) On the first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. (40) And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. (41) And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (42) Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are native Israelites born shall dwell in booths: (43) That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. (44) And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

Most importantly, the instructions to Exodus, which is written by one author is the sanctifying the firstborn, avoid leaven and eat matzah on Passover, telling one’s children the story of the Exodus and donning tefillin (Exodus 13:1-6). Unfortunately my sister is in abeyance to her husband, an insecure Christian deacon; I kept her in my prayer. She did not want to participate in any of the ordinances and statutes of the Law of Moses. I think her job was to watch my kids, so if God accepts the offering of grain, meal (minchah), trespass, sin, burnt and peace (shelamin) found in the book of Leviticus Chapters 1 through 7 – Parshah of Vayikra and Parshah of Tzav. Nevertheless, it is so important that you keep your eye on the prize, and that every day in your life should be a time when you see someone else circumstances or situation, most importantly we do need to be able to grow together. We should be brassy and oppressive because a person doesn’t believe what we believe or have faith to have the results that we have. We should be very mindful of another person’s perspective and sensitive to their convictions. Most of all as guardians we can not obliterate a pure ideal. By telling you this, this isn’t going to solve any of my problems and make it go away, and this is not going to solve any of your problems of addiction, destitution or dereliction but it is a promise of hope to a better start for eternal life and hopefully to turn your life around to a point that you can have a growing relationship with the one God. Division is most definitely a useful tool of secular mediums: the demonic spirits need to be binded. Most of all, I ain’t going let no one tell me how I need to live my life, because I come from a mixed heritage.

In Chapter 24:3-4, “Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations. “He shall be in charge of the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord. Then in verse 8, “every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. “And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the offerings of the Lord made by fire, by a perpetual statute.”

Provisions for the Seventh Year – You shall dwell in the land safely.

In the 25th Chapter of the book of Leviticus and verses 17 through 19, the Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai saying, (17) Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shall fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God. (18) Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. (19) And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

I like the way God talks to Moses, He is a man of war, He is a just God, and He is a husband. In the 26th Chapter God gives promises of Blessing and Retribution. The following verses are all of God’s promises, and although all of his word is true, you must remember that he hastens to perform his word and his promise are always fulfilled.

Verse 2 – Ye shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

Verse 3 – If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Verse 4 – Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Verse 7 – And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

Verse 9 – For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

Verse 11 – And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

 Verse 12 – I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

 Verse 13 – I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

Verse 14 – But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

Verse 15 – And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

Verse 17 – And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursues you.

Verse 18 – And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Verse 19 – And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

Verse 20 – And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

What a good providence of God. We thank him so much for the Christian values that this family carried throughout their life. We thank God for the rigorous fight for justice, the steadfast to serve their country loyally and faithfully. We see that we don’t know at this time in the 14 page document, if he is in deed a Son of Aaron. I hope to learn more about this character and place him in his rightfully place. I hope to learn more about this soldier, he has provided us with a wealth of knowledge regarding the surrender of the enemy. We pray for this family and the perpetual light that connects this family with your family, be it by patriotism or blood.

Have a blessed Good Friday,

Yours in Christ,

Thalia Sanders
